Origin you can trace
We work directly with hunters and producers in Italy, and every lot carries its origin with it.

South of the Tanaro river, in the south of Piedmont, the hills of the Langhe and Roero hold the most celebrated truffle grounds in the world.
Long ridges of chalky marl, cold autumn fogs, and woods of oak, poplar, willow and lime along the streams. The white truffle asks for all of it, and grows nowhere it has not chosen.
Langhe · Piedmont
In Piedmont the truffle hunter is called the trifolau. Hunters walk the woods in the dark or at first light with their dogs, the only partners able to find a truffle buried under the roots.
The best places are never shared; the knowledge passes from one generation to the next. Hunting is licensed, limited to the legal season, and the ground is closed again by hand to protect the next harvest.

For nearly a century, every autumn, Alba has hosted the International White Truffle Fair, where the finest pieces of the season are judged, celebrated and sought by chefs from around the world.
The surrounding landscape of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014, recognising centuries of a culture shaped by the land.
We exist to bring the real thing, intact, from the hills where it is born to the kitchens that deserve it.
